Q: How do you make me faster?
A: We make you faster by giving you specific advice and demonstrations to techniques that have proven to work for us. We explain why these techniques work and how to apply them in your driving. We monitor your driving style and provide feedback based on what we feel will help you the quickest and most effective way. We also help to teach you what to look for, in putting together a fast lap. A lot of you may feel lost or confused on how to do a turn at the limit. We can help teach you what things you need to look for, to become a better driver, faster.

Q: Do you support Hosted Servers on iRacing?
A: Hosted servers are supported, however it is not included in the price of online sessions. If you wish to use a hosted server for your online session. It will be up to you to supply the server. You can work those details out with your instructor.

Q: Do the Live Sessions use driver aids?
A: No. All driving is done without the use of driver aids, except maybe Auto Clutch. If a mod or car was designed with the use of a driver aid, it will then be permitted.

Q: Can I choose an instructor?
A: No. An Instructor will be chosen based on who we think can provide you with the best instruction for the package you have selected, and the specific car or track you wish to learn.

Q: Can I purchase more then 1 lesson at a time?
A: Yes, however our online live sessions are limited to 1 hour. It is best to schedule multiple sessions on different dates. It is also best to submit one replay at a time to maximize the amount of feedback as you progress as a driver.

Q: Will you provide a setup for the track I choose?
A: Orion can provide a setup during live sessions if desired. The Orion Race Team does offer setups to download on the main website. Orion is also willing to drive a setup that you provide.

Q: Will you teach me how to make a setup?
A: We will help you make basic adjustments to suit your driving style, and explain what those adjustments do. Any further instruction can be discussed by doing or providing a custom plan, contact us for more details.

Q: How will I communicate with the instructors?
A: For replay reviews all communications go through the Orion Racing School email. For live sessions, we can do live chat through text or through microphones (Ventrillo).

Q: After submitting an application, how long till I hear a response?
A: You will receive a response within 48hrs. This response may be with a scheduled date, or more information on how to proceed to get your lesson started.

Q: How do I pay?
A: The Orion Racing School uses Pay Pal for all transactions. All prices are in USD.

Q: What if I am late for a live session or get disconnected during the session?
A: The scheduled time and date for the session is to be respected. If the session is to end at 8 pm, and you arrive at 7:30, the full 1 hr session will still end at 8 pm. In the event of an internet disconnection, the instructor can offer to extend the session or reschedule the lost time at a later date.

Q: If something comes up and I cannot make the appointment, how do I reschedule?
A: A minimum of 24 hours notice is required or you will forfiet your scheduled session. Only one rescheduling is allowed.

Q: If I buy 3 sessions, will they all be from the same instructor or can I have different instructors?
A: If you purchase multiple lessons of the same level package, your instructor will likely be the same. If your regular scheduled instructor cannot make one or more lessons, a equal or better instructor will be substituted. All our instructors are provided with information of previous lessons.
